Valan Consulting
Sentinel Foresight is built by Valan Consulting, an independent advisor specialising in ERP, security and compliance. Valan was founded by Adrian Lappin, after a career inside complex systems: large-scale ERP transformation, major international events, public safety and critical infrastructure, and telecommunications. Across all of them the lesson was the same, and Sentinel is built on it: causes and symptoms are often far apart, and the turning point is being able to observe, measure and explain what is really happening.
The approach is straightforward: clear judgement and experience-led advice, even when it is uncomfortable. Finding a problem is good news, because it can be dealt with.
We built Sentinel because the tools we saw either produced more data than anyone could read, or asked people to trust them. We wanted something different: evidence that explains itself, running where the customer’s data already lives.
